The Executive Board
The Nordic Stage Fight Society consists of non-profit organizations in the Nordic/Baltic region and personal members from around the globe.
The organization is led by an Executive Board, to which a Committee of Research and Education acts in an advisory capacity.
The society has a group of certified teachers who work across the Nordic/Baltic region.
The General Assembly elects the Executive Board and decides on the yearly program of action, making the General Assembly the highest authority in the NSFS.

COUNCILS: STRUCTURE AND PURPOSE
In line with the General Assembly 2024 mandate, the Board has explored restructuring The Committee of Research and Education (R&E) and created three advisory councils:
Artistic Council (AC)
AC is dedicated to envisioning the future of NSFS by exploring new pathways and strategic directions. Its tasks include shaping the society’s vision, discussing the future of dramatic combat, and developing programs such as an advanced performer initiative. The AC serves as a forum for proactive members to contribute ideas, help define what NSFS could become, and ensure its relevance to members’ needs.
Current AC consists of: Anastasia Trizna (FI), Johan Elm (EE), Kristoffer Jørgensen (NO), Ine Camilla Bjørnsten (NO), Oula Kitti (FI), Simon Manns (SE) and Hilde Veronika Östensson (SE).

Mentor Council (MC)
MC, composed of current and former mentors, as well as a representative of mentor-students, advises on mentorship quality, reviews and recommends new mentor-mentee pairings, and provides feedback on mentorship reports. It also functions as a community hub for mentors to gather and share insights, and reviews applications for fight director roles. The NSFS board holds the final authority and makes official decisions based on the council’s recommendations.
The current mentor council members are: Peppe Östensson (SE), Hilde Veronika Östensson (SE), Kristoffer Jørgensen (NO), Bo Thomas (DK), Oula Kitta (FI), Iiro Heikkila (FI), Indrek Sammul (EE) and Simon Manns (SE).
Can be contacted via mentor-council@googlegroups.com
Research & Development (R&D)
R&D group aims to facilitate systematic research into key aspects of NSFS, such as weapon systems, choreographic tools, and international programs. Smaller task forces may be formed within this group to investigate specific topics, helping guide the society’s evolution with informed insights.
Council is in development. Contact information will be added once it starts functioning.
