Inga Live KippersundInga Live Kippersund (born 1965) is actually an educated tailor(!), but prefers a rapier to needles. She is an actress in Turnekompniet, with a villain speciality as she has performed both Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, and Rocheford in The Three Musketeers. She is an active children’s theatre director, costume maker, freelance producer and of course stage fight choreographer. She was in the first batch of teachers to graduate from the Nordic Stage Fight Society in 1997. Her favourite weapons are: Rapier and dagger – any style, any time.

Anders and Inga Live Kippersund: Turnékompaniet or ”The Kippersunds”

We are presenting ourselves as a team, seeing as we both produce and work together... Turnékompaniet was established in 1988, with the siblings Anders, Inga Live, Peter and Jonas Kippersund at the core. Up until today, we have produced more than 60 small and big theatre productions. Since 2007, we have been in charge of running Hamar Theatre. Turnekompaniet helped form Nordic Stage Fight Society. We have been members of the NSFS Executive Committee, where Inga Live has been the chairwoman during two periods.

Anders and Inga Live KippersundOur theatre-groups official main goal is to provide professional theatre productions for children and young mainly in Hedmark and Oppland, Norway. We have toured all of Norway, and also performed and produced some productions abroad. What we offer is highly influenced by our specialization in staged combat. Stage fight has become a basic method for our acting-work in general, has influenced our work pedagogically, and is central in our productions as a basis of directing.

We produced and toured with the stage fight version of Romeo and Juliet (1997/1998), actively doing PR for staged combat, the Nordic Stage Fight Society, and last but not least PR for our group. In july 1998, we arranged the Nordic Stage Fight Society’s first international summer workshop outside Sweden in Hamar, Norway. We also arranged the annual NSFS international summer workshop in 1999, 2000, 2002 and 2003.

Larger stage fight productions also include our version of ”The Three Musketeers” (2001 and 2003). At the moment, Inga Live and Anders are touring with the production ”Tvekampen” – a show based on fights with Sword and Shield, heraldic songs and dried fish.

Our main intention will always be to make good productions with exiting stage fighting. But of course there will always be a lot of teaching at theatre schools, choreographing and performing for nearby theatres – and movie production. The brothers Jonas (test 3 – 2005) and Peter (test 2 – 2001) Kippersund are often with us as fiercesome assistants...
